Taylor Made for Kristina

On November 4th 2017, Kristina and Taylor tied the knot with us. Their day was nothing short of perfection. It was the kind of wedding every little girl dreams of, and every grown woman awes over on Pintrest. The black and white themed affair was timeless and sophisticated. From the luscious blooms to the dreamy cake, no detail was over looked by the amazing creative team to create a chic ambience for a very special couple.

The Dresses

Kristina wore a gorgeous Calla Blanche gown that fit her like a glove and suited the theme perfectly. The unique neckline, open back detailing and bling accents still have us swooning. Towards the end of the night, she changed into a super fun, party ready Zac Posen gown. This too fit her like a glove and was perfect for the dancing that was to come.

The Décor

We love ourselves a black and white colour palette. Especially when executed this beautifully. Our ballroom was complimented with delicate white blooms and chic black candles. The contrast between the two shades was the perfect combination of classy and edgy. Above the dance floor, sat countless white balloons, which floated so nicely and added a trendy element to the décor. They also made for some picture perfect first dance photos. As if this wasn’t enough, the black chairs were the cherry on top of a perfect set up, and tied all of the details together.

The Head Table

Cascading white blooms and black candles were what made this tablescape the focal point of the room. Both dramatic and classy, it was the perfect set up for a drop-dead gorgeous bridal party.

The Cake

Designed by the super talented Staij and Co, the cake did not disappoint. It featured dark, dramatic detailing which made it both unique and edgy. It looked fantastic as part of a beautiful head table, and tasted just as great.

While every little girl pictures her wedding day different, I think everyone can agree this one comes pretty close to perfection. Although we did love the décor, our favourite part of the reception was the bride and groom’s entrance. As they walked into a room full of their closest family and friends all you could feel was love and happiness. This feeling was felt throughout the entire night, and made the party one for the books. We loved helping this beautiful and kind couple’s big day come together and run seamlessly. And if we learned anything from it, it is to chase the fairytale. Because they do exist.

Kristina and Taylor, on behalf of all of us at Parkview Manor, we wish you nothing but the very best on this journey!
